Mar 14:3 KJ2000 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at table, there came a woman having an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard very precious; and she broke the flask, and poured it on his head.
Read Mark 14:3-9.
This is a powerful story of a womans sacrifice of a precious oil to Christ, which speaks of true worship and selflessness, and others lack of worship and selfishness.
In this scripture we see a woman giving her all to Jesus, while others complained and wanted her to hold back.
The revelation is powerful! (read the story). There are some who are willing to give their best to the LORD, and there are others who will not.
Jesus words were powerful: Mar 14:6 KJ2000 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble you her? she has wrought a good work for me.
Lesson: Everything we do for the LORD with a pure heart is acceptable to God and will always be remembered before God!
