Hello, family and friends, A Word of encouragement on persistent prayer!
Luke 18:1-3
1 And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, who feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.
4 And he would not for awhile: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she wearies me.
6 Then the Lord said, βHear what the unjust judge said.
7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?β
This is a powerful parable on persistent prayer, and getting your prayers answered. The revelation is:
Man can be a judge, but God is the Righteous Judge. If man can give you what you need, how much more will God!
We must also be persistent as the widow woman was, and we must have faith!
Psalm 96:10 Say among the nations that the LORD reigns: the world also shall be established, that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
Whatever you need today, cry out to LORD, and ask him to grant you justice against your adversary, who is the enemy of our souls! Because he will surely do it!!!!
God bless, Pastor Quinn ππΎ
