Word of encouragement!
Revelation 4:1-2 KJ2000
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
In the book of Revelation, the Lord told John the Apostle to come up to a higher place in the heavenlies to receive the revelation to be revealed.
The Lord could have revealed it down there, but John was instructed, ” Come up here!”
The revelation is that the higher things of God require you to come up to a higher level and place in God. You cannot receive greater revelation and anointing down there. It requires you to go upward.
The problem many times is that we are comfortable down there which is a lower place.
Notice in verse 2, when he came up higher, immediately he was in the spirit! The spirit is a higher place. The flesh and earthly thinking is a lower place.
In order to be all God called you to be, you must come up here spiritually! Notice, the Apostle John had to come up higher to receive from the Lord.
When you think about it, Moses, Joshua, David, Daniel, Mary, Deborah and the Apostles and Prophets all had to “Come up here!”
In order for you to receive the greater as it relates to purpose, it requires you to come up here, which is a higher place!
Leadership, prayer, pressing in, taking possession of the land, and all that God has for you, and doing greater works for the Lord requires you to come up here!
This is why many people never ascend higher or greater as it relates to purpose!
Another reason why many people don’t like to go higher because they have the higher heights syndrome!
They are comfortable down there. They are happy down there. They are contend down there.
Going higher can be fearful at times because it requires a greater level of sacrifice and faith.
The LORD said, in this season of new things You must “Come up here” to receive the greater revelation, works, and purpose that I have for your life!
