One of the most rewarding things in reading and studying the Bible is learning the history of the Old Testament and how it relates to us as New Testament believers in Christ.
As we study, we learn and grow spiritually, bearing fruit and maturing in Christ. But this can only happen through a thorough study of the scriptures when we take notes and meditate daily in the Word of God.
The Bible says in 2 Tim 2:15, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
The revelation and understanding of scripture comes through study and by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is my prayer that as you take notes and study, the LORD will give you greater revelation and understanding of the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation!
