A New Season and a New Start

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

Ecclesiastes 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted.

Ecclesiastes 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance.

Ecclesiastes 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.

Ecclesiastes 3:6 A time to gain, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to throw away.

Ecclesiastes 3:7 A time to tear, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.

Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; A time of war, and a time of peace.

One of the things we find in the book of Ecclesiastes is the wisdom of Solomon who expounds on the wisdom of times and seasons for everything under the sun.

And what is even more interesting is that the writer of Ecclesiastes goes on to say in verse 11, that he has made everything beautiful in its time!

One of the things that we must always remember is that God ordains everything in times and seasons.  This is why we have spring summer fall and winter!

Even in your personal life you may have some seasons in your life where everything is going well, then there comes a time when it seems like things may not be going right. You might have some seasons in your lives where you have a lot of money, then there could be a time when your money may be funny.

There may be some seasons in your lives where you are joyful and times where you might have pain. Regardless of whatever season you are in, remember that it is just a season. The scripture says in Psalm 30:5 -Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

That’s why when you are going through a trying time in your life, don’t get out of the will of God, and don’t give up on God. Why? It’s just a season, and just like the seasons in the earth. It’s going to pass, why? Because it’s just a season!

A word of wisdom for us all when we are going through. Go through it and get through it, so you can get to it! Get to what? Get your peace, purpose, provision, prosperity that come through the promises of God!

And so, we must also be discerning and wise, to know that when you are in a fruitful season, you need to maximize the moment. In other words, don’t miss your moment! Some people miss their moment because they don’t understand times and seasons. Others understand times and seasons and they maximize the moment!

Many times, people miss opportunities in their lives, because they don’t maximize the moment that God gives them.  When God gives you opportunity, opens a door, grants you favor, never miss your moment! This is why you must stay focused in God, stay humble and stay in the will of God.

And so here we are in the month of June! It’s a new season, and with every new season comes new things and new experiences! I don’t know about you, but despite everything going on in the earth, I believe God is still blessing his beloved children who walk by faith and not by sight!

I believe that this is a season of opportunity, a season of breakthrough, a season of favor, a season of great grace, and a season of great expectation for those that love the LORD and stand strong in his Word!

When God opens a door, no man can shut it, and when he closes a door, no man can open it! So, we embrace whatever season God has for us! This is the key to keeping your joy. One of the reasons people lose their joy is they don’t understand times and seasons in their lives!

We must understand that where we are today is a result of two things: 1. The perfect will of God for your life, and 2. Decisions and choices you have made.

The Will of God is important, because in his perfect will we find direction, purpose and peace through his precious promises. Making the right choices and decisions is also important because decisions and choices give direction. If you make the right choices and decisions, you will experience peace and joy.

When you make the wrong choices, there is no peace or joy. Have you ever brought a car or something, and when you get home, you have decision remorse? Thats because you may have made a wrong decision and don’t have peace!

Times and seasons in decision making and choices is very important. No matter what you go through, God alone knows you by name, and when you trust him with all of your heart, and lean not to your own understanding through prayer, recognizing that everything has a time and season. You will have the peace you need to do what you desire or want to do!

Be Blessed!
