Wisdom Word of encouragement
Phil 3:13-15 KJ2000
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as would be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
These are wise words from the Apostle Paul, in which he humbly shares that yesterday’s victories are only stepping stones to greater things in the future.
No matter what we have achieved or accomplished this far! We must continue to press!!!
Even though Paul did some great things in preaching and teaching the Gospel. He understood there was more to do for the Kingdom of God!
As we move forward in this new season, we must follow that example and continue to press!
We cannot get weary in doing good! We cannot get comfortable! We cannot get slack in prayer! We cannot get slack in servitude, and we cannot get slack in giving to the vision!
We must press, persevere, and push! For the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. (Matt 11:12)
Let us always remember the words of the Apostle Paul, that we cannot get comfortable, weary, or tired, but we must press into our calling to fullfill God’s kingdom agenda!
My prayer for us is, LORD, reveal the comfortable things in our lives, and help us to make the proper adjustments to do greater works for Yeshua Christ our Lord!
