Good day family and friends, blessings to you all,
As we know February is designated as Black History Month. A time to reflect and remember the contributions that Black Americans have made in the United States of America.
Why is it important? Because Black History is part of American History, and there are valuable historical lessons that we can learn from the past, that will educate us, and help us today, tomorrow and forever more.
For example there are many Black Americans who made significant contributions to our country, who were inventors, scientists, educators, civil rights leaders, actors, politicians, military leaders, sports figures, and clergy. Check out these links:

When we think about it, the Kingdom of God is diverse as well. It is diverse with believers of every creed, color and nationality! The scripture says:
Rev 14:6-7 AKJV 6 And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
There are believers all over this world from different ethnicities that make up the Kingdom of God, and this is by design from our Heavenly Father.
In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus (Yeshua) taught the disciples how to pray, and listen to the words of the first few verses:
Mat 6:9-10 AKJV 9 After this manner therefore pray you: Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
God’s (Elohim) desire is that his will be done in earth as it is in heaven! So if heaven is diverse, and a place full of unity and harmony, the Body of Christ should be the same.
Notice I said the Body of Christ and not the world. Because the world, which is the Kingdom of men has its own set of rules!
Despite this, Jesus died for the sins of the world according to John 6:3, because he is not willing that any would perish, but that all would come to repentance.
2Pe 3:9 AKJV The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The Lord is coming back for one church, although there are diverse communities of Christ all over America and the world. The Apostle Paul confirms it in Ephesians 4:
Eph 4:2-6 AKJV 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Why is the collective contributions of Black Americans and all ethnicities important? Because it is part of America history, and above all, education enlightens us and destroys ignorance!
The Word of God clearly states that people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hos 4:6)
So today refuse to accept ignorance and allow God’s truth to fill our hearts and minds with love, knowledge and understanding. It is our responsibility to stand strong and agree with the Word of God. Because truth be told, it is the only thing that will endure forever!
1Pe 1:24-25 AKJV 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass wither, and the flower thereof falls away: 25 But the word of the Lord endures for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you.
God bless, Pastor Quinn
