Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you.
Remember when the Disciples asked Jesus, “What will be the sign of your coming, and the end of the age?” Matt 24:3
Before Jesus said, wars, rumors of wars, pestilence and earthquakes..he said watch the deception. Matt 24:7
People, the world, religion, and many other things can deceive us. This is why we need to refocus with the eyesight of the Lord, so we can see and discern clearly.
Remember he told the church of Laodicea, you see yourself one way, but I see you another way. It’s amazing that we can see ourselves as all that, and God sees differently.
Isa 55:8-9 KJ2000 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Listen to what he told the Laodicea church in Revelation chapter 3.
Rev 3:17-18 KJ2000 17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white clothing, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
That church was deceived! Saints, this is what is happening all over the world today. I heard the Lord say, How is your focus, and do you see what I see?
Sometimes we have to refocus spiritually to see clearly everything around us.
Emotions, feelings, and having the worlds vision can cause us to see deceptively. But God said, in this season there must be a refocus of your eyes to see how I see.
It’s like taking binoculars and looking at something, but you don’t see the picture as clearly as you should.
What do you do? There must be some adjustments, so we turn the knob slowly and carefully until you see everything clearly. This is what the Lord told that church at Laodicea.
He said I need you to anoint your eyes with eye salve that you may see. Rev 3:18
Then in verse 19, he said because I love you, I rebuke you and chaste you, and I want you to repent. So in essence the Lord said, I want you to refocus, so you can see as I see you, and then repent.
Today in humility, refocus and repent so that we can see clearly and truthfully as God sees!
